Melissa Leavenworth has been making the Internet more fun since before most people knew it needed saving. Inspired by early MySpace aesthetics and the Sailor Moon era, this self-taught coder turned designer spent years creating in the entertainment space before setting her sights on San Francisco's startup world. Her obsession with bringing joy and personality back to the web is baked into everything she touches, including Levity itself.
Levity shaped the creative direction for Jokechella 7, building a festival look and feel that could carry across stage visuals, promotion, merch, and the on-site experience.
The work extended beyond visual direction into merchandising, operations, and marketing support, helping the sold-out three-day festival feel cohesive from first announcement through showtime while accruing over $25k in revenue.

Levity created the brand identity for Melly Leaves Dainty Jewelry, shaping a delicate, handmade identity for beaded pieces available in San Francisco boutiques.
The branding features floral designs created in collaboration with a print relief artist, who carved the motifs that appear prominently throughout the identity.
